The motifs of the fabric hand drawn & hand carved on wooden blocks were inspired by the celestial flowers at Mansarovar , believed to be the abode of Shiva & Parvati .

The fabrics are printed using plant extracts from turmeric ; Manjishtha, Henna , Rhubarb roots, natural oils and gums, Sakun seeds and molasses.

The printing technique is in complete harmony with nature where in the sun, river, animals, trees and mud are all part of the making .
