Bagru printing is a 450 years old exotic artform followed by the chippas of a remote place, " Bagru" , Rajasthan. The artisans smear the cloth with Fuller’s earth from the riverside and dip it in turmeric water to get the beige colored background. Then, the cloth is stamped with wooden blocks with engraved designs using natural dyes.
