1) The Narayanpet silk saree is a tradition from Narayanpet, a town in Telangana. They have a rich history dating back to the Maratha rule, when weavers migrated from Maharashtra and settled in Narayanpet, blending local and Maharashtrian weaving styles. It has a gold-woven Annapakshi series border.
